## Put your menu on a TV in about ten minutes

The Letrero app turns an Android TV or Google TV into a menu board. Install it once, pair it with your phone, and it plays your menus from then on, even after a power cut.

## Set up the TV

1. **Install Downloader.** On the TV, open the Google Play Store, search for Downloader (by AFTVnews) and install it. It's free.
2. **Type the code 1076593.** Open Downloader, type 1076593 and press Go. It downloads the newest Letrero app. Allow Downloader to install apps when the TV asks, then install.
3. **Open Letrero.** Open the Letrero app on the TV. It shows a pairing code and a QR code.
4. **Pair it with your phone.** Scan the QR code with your phone, or open letrero.tv/dashboard/pair, then enter the code and choose what the screen shows. The TV starts playing right away.

## Which TVs work

- **TVs with Google TV or Android TV built in.** Many TVs from Sony, TCL, Hisense, Philips and others run Google TV or Android TV. Look for Google TV or Android TV in the TV's settings.
- **Any TV with a streaming device.** Plug a Google TV or Android TV streaming device into any TV's HDMI port, including Samsung and LG smart TVs, which don't run Android TV apps themselves.
- **Wide or tall.** Mount the TV landscape (16:9) or portrait (9:16). Every layout fits both.

## After that, it runs itself

- **Live changes.** Edit a menu on your phone and the TV shows it within about a second.
- **Offline.** If the Wi-Fi drops, the TV keeps the last menu on screen and reconnects by itself.
