The Service
Letrero lets you build digital menus and show them on TV screens. You manage menus, screens and plans in the dashboard, and screens run the Letrero TV app. We may improve, change or retire features over time; if we remove something important to a paid plan, we'll tell you in advance.
Your account
You need an account to use the dashboard. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and tell us at support@letrero.tv if you think someone else has access. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including the actions of team members you add. You must be at least 18 to create an account.
Plans, trials and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, as you choose, in advance through our payment providers. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing and in the dashboard.
- New plans may start with a 14-day free trial. A payment card is needed to start a trial. You won't be charged during it, and unless you cancel before it ends, your plan begins and the card is charged.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year, matching how you pay, until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the dashboard; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If a payment fails, your screens keep playing for a 3-day grace period while we retry. After that, your screens show "Menu unavailable" until the plan is paid.
- Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Prices don't include taxes, which may be added. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of a price change, and it applies from your next renewal.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you add: menus, prices, text, logos and photos ("Your Content"). You give us permission to host, copy, process, resize and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service, for example to show it on your screens and to read menu photos you import.
You're responsible for Your Content. You confirm you have the right to use it, and that prices, allergens, nutrition facts and other information you show are accurate and meet the laws that apply to your business.
Acceptable use
Don't use Letrero to:
- show content that is illegal, misleading, hateful or infringes someone else's rights;
- upload malware, or try to break, overload or get around the Service's security or limits;
- access accounts, businesses or screens that aren't yours;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
The TV app and your screens
You're responsible for your TVs, streaming devices and internet connection. The app keeps showing the last menu it received when the connection drops, but we can't guarantee that a screen is always on, online or up to date. Anyone with a screen's private link can view what it plays, so keep links private and turn off any you no longer use.
Our property
The Service, including its software, layouts, themes and the Letrero name and logo, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your account is in good standing. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.
Third-party services
Letrero relies on providers for sign-in, payments, hosting and AI, and the TV app is installed through third-party app stores or tools such as Downloader. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for them.
Ending your account
You can stop using Letrero and cancel your plan at any time, and ask us to delete your account at support@letrero.tv. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, don't pay, or if we're required to by law; where reasonable we'll warn you first. When an account ends, its screens stop playing and we delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales or data, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs arising from Your Content, your business, or your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Letrero after that, the new terms apply.
